Producer Story – Las Brisas Farm

Las Brisas Farm, named after the constant breezes at its 1,450 masl location, is nestled in the scenic Nueva Segovia coffee region, within the community of Los Arados. The farm spans 8.45 hectares (12 manzanas) and has been managed by Hugo Núñez since 2012.

Hugo grows Red and Yellow Catuai in a sustainable, biodiversity-respecting environment. Native forest species, fruit trees, and mosses are planted to provide natural shade and preserve local ecosystems and water sources.

All cherries are hand-harvested at peak ripeness, and Hugo personally oversees every stage—from harvest to bagging—ensuring exceptional quality. His passion for innovation, combined with deep agricultural knowledge, results in expressive micro-lots that reflect both terroir and meticulous craftsmanship.

Why Choose This Coffee?

This Red Catuai from Las Brisas is a refined, fruit-forward specialty coffee with depth, clarity, and elegance. With hints of champagne, berries, and cacao, it’s ideal for those seeking a vibrant and clean cup with a smooth, lingering finish. A beautiful representation of Nicaraguan innovation and sustainability in coffee growing.
