Information: Sidamo is the region where the coffee comes from and it is one of the three, among Harrar and Yirgacheffe, that the Ethiopian Government trademarked in 2004 to bring wider recognition around the world. The region was formed after Ethiopia achieved liberalization and was named after a group of native people called the Sidama, which people call as well the coffee. Sase Rodoo is a hand-shaped sculpture that honors three Ethiopian children. These are three children very loved by the peasants since they always came to help their elders take care of the coffee trees. The peasants nicknamed them as the trio of the helping hand, to the point where, in gratitude, the sculpture that gives its name to this coffee -Sase Rodoo, was built.
