Other information: The goal of "Description of Coffee" is to raise the coffee culture on the Bulgarian market, which will help people enjoy a cup of freshly roasted coffee, understanding it better.
How to use: Prepare a cup of coffee. Smell it to feel the aroma, what does it remind you of? Then try it to perceive the taste. Look at the wheel and start from its center, reaching its outer circles, trying to describe your cup of coffee, through the words in it. Pay attention to its colors as well.
Using the classic flavor wheel from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) as a basis, a new improved version was developed, with in order to provide a greater range of descriptive capacity. In this way, each aromatic family is expanded.
The wheel is divided into three main groups for describing coffee aromas: enzymatic, caramelized and dry-distilled, which creates 145 characteristic descriptors that can be found in a good coffee.
The "Coffee Description" wheel was created by the Marre Terra laboratory research and quality control team. In partnership with Martines Caffe Family Roastery, it is now available in Bulgarian.
