Martina Malkanova: "My father makes a great contribution because his love for coffee is contagious."
The time has come to introduce you the last person from the team of Martines Caffe Family Roastery. 23-year-old Martina talks about herself and the dynamic job of a young PR specialist, she has chosen.

1.Hello, introduce yourself.
My name is Martina and I am part of the Martines Caffe Family Roastery team. Currently, I am still studying Public Relations at New Bulgarian University and I am about to graduate this year.
As a person, I am temperamental and extremely self-critical. I love to write, travel, and discover new places.
2. What is your function in the company?
In the beginning, I started by helping in the production area, because I had no special skills yet, however I wanted to ear my own money. The time was passing and things changed, like
for more than a year my activity has been focused only on what I have been studying for. In other words, I deal with the corporate communications of the company, as well as organize professional events and exhibitions. I also write a lot of blog articles. All kind of interesting activities.
3. Is there a positive side of being a young and still “developing” PR specialist?
Of course there is. There are so many things I still don't know. I feel like a little kid who has just learned to walk - curious and interested to explore the world and all the opportunities that such a dynamic profession offers.
4. Why did you choose the coffee industry?
My father makes a great contribution to that, because his love for coffee is contagious. As the time goes on, I realize how interesting and endless this industry could be. Every day I learn new and new things, which helps me a lot not only for my work but also for enriching my general knowledge.

5. Do you drink coffee?
I love to drink coffee. But I'm still trying to cut off the milk as a part of it. I think through the time this will happen.
6.At the end of February, you were part of an interesting event. Tell us a little more.
The event was organized by Marre Terra - one of the biggest importers of green coffee in Spain. The idea was theirs and with our help - it came true.
I'm glad the Martines Cafe team contributed to the Premium Tasting. This type of event was made for the first time in Bulgaria, focused on selected guests from the coffee industry. But for more details, you can read our blog article explaining everything.

7.Why did you decide to start a Martines Caffe’s blog?
The idea was quite spontaneous. One day I thought about why not to make a company’s blog writing interesting and useful articles for anyone interested in the coffee, and to share about our events and travels. I think we have what to say to the people.
And yeah, already one year it is true. It is also really optimistic, that the number of readers is growing every day. This motivates me to continue in the same way.
Here is the place to specially thank to Alexander Skrinjaric, who is also part of the Martines Caffe team and helps me a lot by sharing with me his experience and knowledge.
8.With what have changed you the profession you chose?
The good thing is that it gives me the opportunity to learn and change every day. I notice that I have become more patient. Also, with each successive project, I feel more enriched and inspired by communicating with so many new people and receiving information from them. Because of the different situations in which I am often put, I also escape my comfort zone. Which is actually great.
9. How are you doing in 5 years?
I very much hope to be healthy and happy. My principle is that, whatever is meant to be will be. I keep moving forward and hopefully in five years I achieve the things I dream and work for.
10. And as a conclusion, what means Martines Cafe to you?
For me, Martines Cafe is firstly and foremost Family, although it is also a place, where I can do what I love and reach my full potential.

Great article! However, there are a few grammar mistakes, which is unacceptable when sharing such content online. I wish you all the best! Keep going!
Thank you for the feedback we will take that in mind! :)
